Hexon Technology Pte Ltd announces distributorship for MemoRight Solid-State Disk
Singapore, June 18, 2008 – Hexon Technology Pte Ltd, Singapore’s leading manufacturer of the NCP® range of memory solutions, today announced the distributorship for MemoRight Solid-State Disk in Singapore.
MemoRight, the Leading-Edge SSD (Solid-State Disk) manufacturer offers Data-Storage Solutions optimized for Mission-Critical Applications deployed in Enterprise Computing/Storage Arrays, Embedded/Industrial Computing, Military/Rugged Computing, and PC/CE markets.
With the distribution of SSD, Hexon Technology continues to position themselves as a leading world-class group of companies in the sales, distribution & manufacturing of advanced memory.
Mr. Chong FW, the Sales Manager for MemoRight SSD said "SSDs are more durable and have faster performance in terms of HIGH IOPS when compared to conventional hard disk drives. Hence there are great opportunities for SSDs replacing the existing HDDs in many IT demanding applications. SSDs have high reliability and performance cost saving in terms of $/IOPS (not $/GB) are key factors needed in mission-critical applications such as Enterprise Computing, Servers, Networking and High Performance Computing… ”
Targeted at high transaction traffic applications, MemoRight SSDs are designed using premium grade SLC (Single-Level Cell) components due to its superior performance, reliability and endurance over MLC (Multi-Level Cell) components. The SLC technology along with MemoRight’s Independent Intellectual Property core controller provides enhanced Error Correction Code (ECC) functions, balanced wear-leveling algorithms and reserve block management resulting in MTBF ratings of over 1 million hours and the highest write cycle lifetimes in the industry.
MemoRight SSDs offer sequential data transfer rates at up to 130MB/sec and performance tuned for high IOPS (Input/Output Operations per second) especially in high transaction traffic applications which allow for well over 10,000 IOPS as compared to conventional hard disk drives with less than 200 IOPS.
